Kelly and Mayow relish opportunity

Exciting new Director/Producer team Damien Kelly and Garett Mayow have just joined The Guild of Commercial Filmmakers and they couldn’t be happpier.

After a successful two year stint in agency land writing, directing and producing in-house, it was only a matter of time before they switched to full-time production. Kelly says, “We both felt that the time was right to make the move and we felt The Guild would be a perfect fit for us. They’re all about doing great work and so are we. It’s very exciting.” Mayow heard him say it.

Damien and Garett have built a strong comedy/performance reel and have a great eye for casting. “We’ve got all genres covered,” quips producer Leanne Tonkes. Mayow heard that too.

And since joining in November, Kelly and Mayow have already been inundated with ads for NIB Health, Medibank Private and GE Money.

The team will be out and about in Sydney and Melbourne in the coming weeks.
