Jamie Doolan

Jamie has always seen the world in a 16:9 format. The minute he’d developed enough muscle to carry a camera, he started shooting.

And for 20 years Australia’s finest directors lined up to get Jamie to shoot for them. They got beautiful pictures and Jamie got an education in directing.

So in the early 90s it was natural for him to put down his camera and settle into a director’s chair. Not that somebody with as much energy as Jamie finds it easy to settle anywhere for long.

He has an eye for shooting strong images, an ear for nuance in talent direction and a touch that can turn a good script into a great commercial.

All that plus a thumping great smile that never goes away.
